Dr. Anne Marie Kelly graduated from University of Maryland Medical School. She then completed her Internal Medicine training at University of Pennsylvania. She has been practicing Internal Medicine since 2004. She moved to Cape Cod in 2007 and worked at Cape Cod Hospital in the Department of Hospital Medicine. She was chief of Hospitalist Medicine for several years, prior to joining Dr. Arnold in Primary Care in 2019.
Dr. Kelly is from Baltimore, Maryland. She attended undergraduate at Georgetown University, received a nursing degree and was a critical care nurse for 5 years before heading back to medical school. She is a former Division 1 athlete, and remains active in sports and fitness. She continues to strive to balance work, fitness, and raising 3 children. She resides in Centerville, Massachusetts.

Sarah Edwards
Sarah is a Family Nurse Practitioner in our Direct Primary Care Program. She was born and raised in southern Vermont, spending her summers here on Cape Cod. She received her undergraduate nursing degree at UMass Boston in 2015. Sarah worked as an RN at Emerald Physicians and then at PCCC. She received her Master’s degree from Simmons College in 2019 and became a board-certified Nurse Practitioner; starting her career as an NP at Yale New Haven Health, first specializing in inpatient diabetes management and then moving back into primary care. She and her husband welcomed their first child in 2022 and returned to Cape Cod to put down roots. Her particular passion is preventative care but enjoys all aspects of primary care and truly cares for the well-being of her patients.

Michelle “Shelley” Thomas
Shelley is a Family Nurse Practitioner in our Direct Primary Care Office. She was raised here on Cape Cod. She completed her undergraduate Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. She went on to work in Intensive Care Units at a level one trauma Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, as well as the Cardiovascular ICU at Cape Cod Hospital. She also has worked in outpatient Cardiac Rehab in Hyannis and has taught CNAs at Cape Cod Community College for years as well. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in 2017. Since obtaining her NP license, she has found her passion in primary care and has worked in the field ever since. Her background in ICU, as well as in teaching, has laid an excellent foundation for her knowledge and skills as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care. She has a passion for keeping patients out of the hospital, trying to maintain health and wellness, and preventing disease progression. She strives to work with patients to meet a mutually agreed upon plan of care and set patients up for success in their health. She appreciates the ongoing relationships that develop from working in primary care and seeing patients through their years of health. She and her husband live on the Cape with their son, where they plan to raise him in the town they both grew up.
Knowing the difficulty you might face in getting to appointments, Shelley will also be including some prescheduled evening and Saturday telehealth appointments to help accommodate her patients who need these appointments outside of normal working hours which are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8-4. Check with the office regarding the availability of these dates.

Andrea Lyonnais
Andrea Lyonnais is a Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. She completed the PA program at Northeastern University in Boston to earn her master’s degree. She also has a certificate in plant-based nutrition and is currently working on a certificate in herbal medicine.
Andrea started her PA career in Bakersfield California in 2004 where she worked at a community health center. From there, she moved to Cape Cod and worked at Emerald Physicians. In 2018 she started at Primary Care of Cape Cod, which is now Veritas Direct Care.
When Andrea is not working, she is spending time with her husband and 3 active boys. If they are not enjoying the youth activities the boys participate in, they love to explore the great outdoors and travel.
Andrea believes that a healthy life starts with a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys working with patients to help create and maintain a healthy lifestyle which she hopes will lead to a high-quality happy life.

Giuliana Cucciniello
Meet Giuliana Cucciniello, a dedicated primary care physician assistant with a genuine passion for her patients’ wellbeing. For the past 3 years, she has been an integral part of the esteemed Primary Care of Cape Cod team, where she consistently delivers compassionate and patient-centered care.
Giuliana firmly believes in the power of education as a means to prevent chronic diseases and she takes the time to understand her patients’ individual health concerns, ensuring they receive tailored guidance throughout their wellness journey. Her unwavering commitment to supporting her patients in achieving both physical and mental wellbeing shines through in every interaction.
Originally hailing from the vibrant state of New Jersey, Giuliana pursued and successfully earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Seton Hall University. Now calling the picturesque town of Falmouth home, she shares her life with her significant other and shares her heart and home with four adorable feline companions.
In a wonderful new chapter of her career, Giuliana is thrilled to embark upon the exciting Veritas Direct Care venture, eager to bring her expertise and caring nature to an even wider audience of patients.

William “Will” Lary IV

William “Will” Lary IV PA-C- Born and raised southern New Hampshire, lived in New England most of my life. Studied Psychology and Biology in undergraduate school at Fitchburg State University. Prior to working in multiple clinical situations, providing direct patient care and managing memory care for a number of years in assisted living. At this time, I decided to go back to school to pursue my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at MGH’s (Mass general hospital) Institute for healthcare professions. I have always had a passion for preventative medicine, geriatrics, and memory care. In my free time I enjoy being active with Running, biking, fishing, and home renovation. My wife and I live on the Cape and I am honored to be able to provide care to help promote a healthy, productive local community.

Mike Cefole
Dr. Cefole received his PharmD in 2017 from MCPHS University in Boston, MA. He joined Primary Care of Cape Cod in 2022 after working in the retail pharmacy industry for over a decade. He specializes in the treatment of cardiometabolic disorders, specifically diabetes and obesity management.
Dr. Mike resides in Yarmouth Port with his wife Jen and his children Samuel and Natalie. When not in the office, he’s often found at home working on multiple DIY projects or spending time outdoors with his family.

William Manning MD
Dr. Manning has been practicing on Cape Cod since 1982 and will be able to see all orthopedic problems here at Veritas. Dr. Manning has an extensive referral base of surgeons if conservative therapies are not successful.
Dr. Manning went to Colgate University in New York, and then Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin Ireland for his MD. He then went to Yale-New Haven in CT for his General Surgery Residency and University of Connecticut School of Medicine for his Orthopedic Residency.
Dr. Manning will see patients in office for ortho consults on Wednesdays.
